代名詞の構文(1)

1 a.To tell a lie is wrong.
b.It is wrong to tell a lie.

It is...to〜「〜することは･･･である」

2 彼は老人なのだから、めんどうをみるのは君の義務だ。
　Now that he is old, it is your duty to look after him.

3 その件についてこれ以上論じてもむだです。
　It is usless to discuss the matter any further.

It is useless to〜「〜してもむだである。」

4 人と話すとき顔を見ないのは失礼です。
　It is impolite not to look at a person's face when you talk to him or her.

It is...not to〜「〜しないことは･･･である。」

5 It is necessary for you to go there immediately.

It is + 形容詞（または名詞）+ for +目的格（人）+　not to〜「（人）が〜することは･･･である。」

6 a.You were kind to invite us.
b.It was kind of you to invite us.

It is + 人の性質を表す形容詞 + of + 目的格（人）＋ to〜「（人）が〜するこは･･･である。」

7. It was careless of you to forget your homework.

8. 君の答えが正しいか間違っているかは、問題ではない。
It doesn't matter whether your answer is right or wrong.

It doesn't matter whether 〜「〜かどうかは問題ではない」

9. ひとたび悪い癖がつくと、なおすのはむずかしい。
Once you fall into a bad habit,you will find it difficult to get rid of it.

find it + 形容詞 + to〜「〜することは･･･とわかる。」
